How to
enroll at Harmony Science Academy

Who can apply?
Harmony Science Academy is an open-enrollment
charter school. Students who will attend Pre-K thru 12th
grades for the next school year from all districts can apply for
enrollment.

Tuition Free:
Harmony
Science Academy is a tuition free charter school funded by the state.

Lottery:
Any student who lives in Dallas metropolis area and who submits a
timely application may attend a Harmony Science Academy Dallas. If
the number of applications exceeds the school's capacity, applicants
will be selected through a lottery process. |

How to apply?
You
need to fill out an application form to apply for enrollment (Click

to download the application form). After filling out the form, there
are several ways that you can submit it to to the registration office;

Because income level documentation must be current to qualify for the National Free or reduced-Price Lunch Program, HSA will accept prekindergarten applications by July 1st of each year. Upon verification of income, children eligible under Section 29.153 will be admitted to the program. If the number of eligible children applied exceeds the number of available spaces, a lottery will be conducted.

Children who are not eligible under Section 29.153 will be admitted only if the number of eligible applicants is less than the number of available spaces. If the number of non-eligible children applied exceeds the number of available spaces (after all eligible applicant placed) then another lottery will be conducted.
Kindergarten students must be five years old on or before September 1 of the current school year |

Graders
First graders must be six years old by September 1 of the current
year unless the child has completed public kindergarten in another
state/country or has been receiving public first grade instruction
in another state/country.
